PREVENTION SERVICE
By implementing the basic PreparAct™ modules, shipowners can benefit from a pre-agreed rates structure for solving minor incidents and effective and efficient claims handling.
PrepareAct Manager
The PreparAct™ Manager coordinates and organises all contracted PreparAct™ modules.
The PreparAct™ Manager also ensures that SVITZER has updated data of all vessels on hand,
based on the initial vessel assessment.
Stability and strength analysis
A proactive approach where drawings are modelled into systems by expert salvage naval architects for analysis, combined with on-site casualty inspections. Having drawings on hand can save days in a salvage operation, or prevent a minor incident from escalating.
Familiarisation of operations
Experienced salvage staff evaluate the emergency procedures and preparedness of your crew, vessels and vessel management. As a result, both emergency response teams will be aligned and save valuable time in emergency situations.
Emergency Drills
Periodic drills will be carried out to test the readiness of your crew and emergency response teams, including the efficiency and smoothness of the cooperation with the SVITZER team.
Training
In order to better prepare captains, crew and shore staff for emergency situations we offer Captains Training (to familiarise with the PreparAct™ service), Table Top Exercises of an emergency response situation and Damage
Control Kit Training to arm crew and shore staff with the knowledge, understanding and skills to prevent a minor incident from escalating.
